We recognise that theatre-making is a global endeavour. At a time when the world and our own nation grow increasingly insular, we believe it is important to foster communication and understanding across borders, across languages, across cultures.

Our definition of international is broad. These could be, of course, plays from across the world, in other languages translated into English. However, we understand that there are many definitions of what it means to be ‘international’: and we celebrate that multiplicity of identity within our artists and our audiences.
