From 2008 – 2012, Kobna sat on the board of Mayhem Theatre Company and 2010 – 2014 was on the Development Board of the Tricycle Theatre. In 2011 he joined the board of the charity Dramatic Need and co-produced their one-off show 'The Childrens' Monologues' at the Old Vic Theatre. In 2013 he was associate producer on their 'ARTticulate' event – an art exhibition and auction at the Victoria Miro gallery. Since 2014 he has been a director/trustee of the Act For Change Project, a campaign group for better diversity in live and recorded arts. He co-produced the Act For Change launch event at the Young Vic. Kobna also directs, writes (under pseudonyms) and, as an actor, has appeared in over 100 productions on stage, film, radio and television.
